Wipes warmer... Do you have it? Are you using it?

First of all, I am sorry if this question has been asked in the past. I don't frequent this board quite yet.

I am wondering how many of you are actually using your wipes warmers? I have received two as gifts and am considering exchanging them for a few other items that we have not bought yet. I had heard from other mothers in the past that they don't use them. I just hate to have 2 of something that I am not going to use!

I've been changing diapers for two years and never needed one. I'd exchange them for something you know you'll use.

Yes we use ours but DD was very little in the cold months. If I had a spring or summer baby I doubt I'd use it at all.

we have one...its sitting in the nursery on the dresser. DD is in our room for sleeping and changes.

sooo yeah. no, haven't used it yet. She kind of minds the cold wipes, and i'm sure she'd appreciate warmed ones *shrugs*

I bought one at a "moms of multiples" sale and haven't used it once. I'm glad I didn't pay full retail for it.

I highly recommend returning yours. If it turns into a problem, you can always re-buy it (or get one from a consignment store for even less).

returned mine, you don't need it. and then the baby is used to a warm wipe she will scream when it is cold. do you know they have a travel wipe warmer then you can use in your car??? there are some pampered bottoms out there.

I am going to be different because we have one and we use it all the time. We actually have 2 - one upstairs and one downstairs. It is def. not a necessity but it is nice to have. You can return the new ones you have and buy one at a child's consignment shop for $10.

I'll go against the grain here because I love mine. We keep it there on the changing table shelf and it's really easy to use. We buy the wipes in bulk at Sam's and refill it occasionally as needed. I like that it warms the wipes. As a baby they are getting used to life in general, no need for the shock of an ice cold wipe on the bottom to boot. We got ours as a gift and I wasn't sure how much we'd use it or like it and we love it and use it at every change.

I love ours, but it is mostly because of having a boy I think... No need to startle the little guys when they are so equipped to make such a mess!!

We bought one b/c DS really doesn't like being changed or wiped. Figured if it was warm it'd be more tolerable for him. He does seem to take it a little better now. The silly thing is, the thing warms them from the top so as you work your way through your supply the wipes are less & less warm!

Yes and I love it. We cloth diaper and use cloth wipes as well, so the wipes are ready to go thank to the wipes warmer. We have the munchkin glow one.

We use ours too. DH Bought it for us when she was about a week old because she hated the cold wipes and we've used it ever since.

We have one but never use it. It seems that by the time we get it out of the warmer and on the tushie it is cold. We also always forget to refill the water. I just stick to the normal wipes.
