  I'm interested in suggestions, too!  I really want to do a maternity shoot, but dont want to break the bank.  I've been debating on having my husband take the pics, but I'd prefer to get them done professionally.

  I love love love the Portrait Simple in the Natick Mall... sorry Natick Collection. We have never been disappointed leaving there.

  We did our Shoots with Kelly Mac Donald. She has been amazing!

  Her packages are $500 for 2 Shoots- One now and one once the Baby is born. - Depending on your Skills or what yo have to offer she may be willing to barter for her services. In my case I bartered a Laptop that was not getting much use at my house...for AMAZING PICTURES!

  Our pics made it on her opening site- the feet are ours, the Baby on the chair at the beach...and the couple that stands Belly to Belly...

  I can highly recommend her...

  We did a Sears Shoot (by default as they are the only ones doing passfoto's of babies) a little while back and while the pictures where cute enough the glare of harsh lighting makes our daughter look a little deamonic..so next time I'm going back to Kelly!

   By the time we walked out of Sears I had plopped down about $300 as well- so realistically- there is no place you'll be able to not spend the money unless you just want one picture (they run specials on those)

  I'd look into Adriano Batti Photography. He did a great job with our wedding pics last year. I know that he also does maternity shoots but I'm not sure what his pricing is. He's based out of Medford.
