Recommend your Adults Only All Inclusive Resort

We are planning our 5 year wedding anniversary trip for this fall, probably November. Last time we went on a cruise, so this time we would like to do an all-inclusive resort trip...Somewhere...most likely Mexico or the Caribbean. Can you please recommend the resort you stayed at?
I would prefer Adults Only, but if you have one that isn't but was an awesome trip...let me know.

Thanks!

  • We went to Sandals Whitehouse (Jamaica) for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! :) Great food, great drinks (!!!), wonderful atmosphere, really nice beach and pools.. It was a lot of fun. We spent a lot of time at the pools, but also went waterskiing, paddle boad, kyaking.. it was great.

The only downside was that the resort is far from everything else, so if you want to do excursions (swim w/ dolphins, waterfalls, zip line, etc..) you have 2+ hour drives! So we ended up staying at the resort the entire time and not doing any of the other stuff. They do have other Sandals resorts on the island though, that are near a lot of the attractions.

  • We went to the Aventura Spa Palace in Mexico (Rivieria Maya) for our HM. It was nice, but had no beach, and I missed the beach more than I thought I would. I have to recommend the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in Mexico. Have never been there, but stayed at another Iberostar in Mex. and LOVED everything about Iberostar. The Grand Paraiso is adults only.

In Jamaica, I have heard wonderful things about the Sandals Whitehouse resort.

  • Sandals Grande in St. Lucia...we went for our honeymoon and it was phenomenal.  Good food, drinks, the staff was amazing, so nice and helpful.  We thought the island was beautiful and all in all, it was a fabulous trip.  We're hoping to go back for our 5 year anniversary.

  • I also wanted to add that there are 2 other Sandals on St. Lucia within 15 minutes driving distance, and there is a free shuttle.  We went to both of the other ones for dinner (the Grande was by far the nicest of the 3).  The island is small, so it is easy to get around for excursions, etc.  We did an awesome boat tour of the Pitons, it was so much fun!

  • Almond Beach resort in Barbados, it was so much fun and a really nice island, the people are really nice too.  The food was incredible, Almond resorts has two and the smaller one is adult only, the larger one is all, they have shows at the larger one, if you stay at the smaller adult only you can also go eat at the other one and watch the shows.  Have Fun were ever you goSmile

  • We went to Excellence Riviera Cancun. It was amazing. ?The food was great and they had great service. ?Here is the website:?https://www.excellence-resorts.com/all-inclusive-resorts/riviera-cancun-mexico/cancun-overview.htm. Have fun!
  • sandals royal bahamian and it was awesome.
  • We went to the Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica and had a wonderful time!!! We didn't really want to pay for the extra excursions so we didn't mind that they were far away. There are plenty of free activities right on the resort anyway. Snorkeling and Sail boating were amazing. We even got to see a dolphin once when we were out by ourselves on the sailboat. It was such a great trip! If we go again I would save some extra money ahead of time so that we could enjoy the spa as well (it's extra and it's expensive).

  • Ditto on the Excellence in Rivera Maya/Cancun.  We loved it!

Also, I was addicted to tripadvisor.com when i was planning our honeymoon.  they have great info and reviews on there.

  • Sandals Royal Bohamian (sp) for our honeymoon and The Royal Cancun for our anniversary. They were both great however I felt that you got more for your money at The Royal Cancun. The rooms were amazing however the food is all gourmet food and IMO gourmet food looks pretty but doesn't taste good. The Royal Cancun is a newer resort and the Sandals resort was older.
  • Royal Hideaway Playacar in Riviera Maya.  Went there for our honeymoon- it's incredible!!  If you google Royal Hideaway you'll be able to pull up the site and see what I mean!!
