What to do on DS's 3rd bday

DS's 3rd birthday is on Monday and I want to have a special mommy and Colin day. I don't know what to do. We do Chuck E Cheese a lot so that's not all that fun. I would take him skiing but I really don't want to be cold. hmm...any ideas?

    We did Chuck E. Cheese for the 1st time on DS's 3rd birthday, so that's no help. Maybe a movie? A kid's museum or aquarium? Indoor ice skating? Have fun!

    Lunch and a movie sounds cute. DH works for CEC so when he is in a store nearby us and I'm not working we visit him and I think CEC is begining to run it's course here too.

    Bell just turned 3 and I took her to one of the paint your own pottery places.  She loved it!  She painted a bowl for her cereal and had so much fun.  It was messy, but great:)

    We're taking Sam skiing on his third birthday, so I'm not full of other ideas. we're making it into a big deal & taking him shopping for all of the gear ahead of time to get him excited, etc. He keeps talking about "skiing 'da mountain on Sammy's birday!"
