AW AW AW AW: Sorry but I must...

I got a massive bouquet delivered to my house today. There was an envelope that said "look for the smaller envelope inside the flowers" with an arrow pointing down. So I go to look in the middle of the bouquet and there is a smaller envelope. I open the second envelope and it said, "dig a little deeper and find the next envelope. Then flip over this card, read it and then open the third envelope." So I found the last TINY envelope, flipped over the card and it said "Will you marry me all over again?!?" I opened the small envelope and in it was a diamond solitaire ring wrap for my engagement ring.

I totally realized that today was the anniversary of when he proposed to me! I was pouring out tears and called him immediately (NO answer).

Literally 30 minutes before all this he called me to see what I was doing (I was putting DC to sleep for nap). And about 2 minutes after I called him, he swept in (he must have been watching from a window or something). Oh GAWSH, I've got the BEST DH! He wants to renew our vows after the baby arrives. Oh I am such a lucky woman.

awww, that is so sweet! Any chance he could teach a thing or two to my DH? Don't get me wrong, he's great, but I think that we've been together so long (12 years) that he forgot that it's still important to do sweet things.

That has to be the best AW I have read on the Nest in a long time! I read it to DH, and he said "that guy is good...he knows what he is doing". LOL. Enjoy that new ring. How sweet is that?

I was just thinking, "Aww, I wish DH would do things like that," but shouldn't I also do things like that for him? We always expect guys to do stuff for us, but they also appreciate the lovey dovey stuff.
