I have no idea how to spell it but the Irish for Michael is pronounced "Me-haul" or "Me-hall". I love that name.
It's spelled Micheal (the a & e are switched, and technically there's a stroke (called a fada) over the i and a). It won't work in the US. People will just think you switched the letters by mistake.
