What diaper bag have/will you buy?

Just wondering what everyone had decided on.

Re: What diaper bag have/will you buy?

  • I got one made when I was pregnant the first time at www.1154lill.com.  They have SUPER cute fabrics to choose from.  A little pricey, but great quality, and well worth the money in my opinion as you will use it almost everyday (or at least I will).

  • I have gone through many of them. My first was a Vera Bradley baby bag- which i liked, but i overstuffed it too much and the one strap would always fall off my shoulder- so drove me nutty. then i got a VB knock off at Home Goods for $30 that was HUGE and loved it for the summer- taking extra things with us to the pool, etc. it was also plastic lined- very nice. that fall I got a $20 bag that was really cute at Walmart- a skip hop knock off that i really loved. It got pretty beat up - used it until may, when my DH got me the bag of my dreams for mother's day... www.pinningtonbags.com - got it 1/2 price at a sample sale - it's perfect! One large strap (does not fall off my shoulder), is huge, plastic lined, has many pockets inside, closes on the top so i don't have to worry about my wallet falling out, etc. I used it all summer and winter. I got a Mothership from babybargains.com to use in the spring. I like to change my bags with the season, like I used to do with purses :0)
  • I got the Natalie bag from the Bumble Collection for $60! Check babysteals.com every now and then and you can get a great deal on diaper bags!
  • We're actually getting a TimBuk2 Tote bag and will purchase a portable changing pad to fold into it.  It is more practical for our  needs and is super durable.
  • imageI got this one from the Petunia Pickle Bottom outlet sale this week.

  • Why do the Pinnington bag have to be so expensive? Now I want one and I can't have it.
  • Did y'all get seperate diaper bags for you and for DH? ?He was thinking about a generic backpack and I want something pretty. ?Think it's impractical or a good think to have two??
  • My DH had a skip hop bag for our DD and I found myself using it more than he did as it was really practical. My DH goes out alone with DD a lot so it was worth him having his own as mine was very feminine.
  • DH is just going to use his backpack from university. It has some handy pockets on the outside for bottles and all kinds of compartment and such... I think it'll work great!
  • I'm going to re-use the one I had with my son.

  • I'm getting a Vera Bradley baby bag... I just can't decide which pattern I want!
  • I had 2 Coach bags when DS was a baby. They were not very practical so we switched to a North Face backpack which worked out GREAT (so many compartments for storage). For x-mas DH got me a Babymel which I love and I just ordered a PPB clutch from the sale yesterday. I am a bag junkie ;)
