When did your linea nigra show?

All the books I've read say mine should have shown weeks ago. But I don't have one yet... anyone never get it?

I didn't know I had mine until DH pointed it out. mine is on the underside of my belly and I can't see it without a mirror.

Some people don't ever get one. I got one below the belly button around 19 weeks and above the belly button around 20 weeks. Both appeared over night.

I still don't really have one, but I was slightly overweight to start so I think that hides it?

With DS I got it at about 25 weeks. This time - I'm 34 weeks and I still haven't gotten one. I wonder if I will?

The darker your skin tone, the more yours will show. (They're made of melanin) I got mine around 22 weeks.

I think I read that your more likely to get one if you have darker skin. I have one below my belly button, but its vary faint.

I didn't get one yet either. My friend said hers was really faint and she didn't notice hers until after the baby was born. My sis had hers by the 3rd tri and still has it; her baby is 6 months old. Everyone is different.

You can barely see mine and it goes from the belly button down. Nothing on top yet. Dont know if it will get much darker.

I would say if you don't have it by now you probably won't get it. I could see mine faintly around 13/14 weeks and it gradually has gotten darker.

I don't believe that. I'm puerto rican and my friend who's pasty as hell has the freaking line but I don't! lol

My skin is whiter than white, and I have light hair, and if you look really hard (I mean, practically squint) you can *maybe* see something at the bottom of my stomach. I'm thinking it's not going to show that much.
