What else was I going to do between 12 and 5 this morning? It might become my nightly ritual.

I pulled out my pump, read the directions and started pumping away. I felt them almost immediately. Did it for about a half hour, thought about trying to give myself an orgasm, laughed hysterically at the thought and went back to watching some tv while timing my contractions.

Hopefully I get those prostaglandins sometime soon. My husband says I'm being too medical and not romantic enough. Just hush up and give me the prostaglandins, honey Stick out tongue

Just tell him - honey at nearly full term there is no such thing as romantic when it comes to sex.... just give it to me in a way that doesn't hurt or require me to do any more work than absolutely necessary.... and for god's sake don't you dare think you can get yours first without at least finishing me off afterward.

lol at breast pump....thats how i put myself into labor 3 days ago....and im slowly progressing....as for sex....i now call him the sperm doner cause he says thats all i want from him

Seriously? I may try this!!! yours is manual though, right? I have an electric pump that's still in the box but I guess it woudl be the same thing. i haven't had a single BH so I dont even know what a contraction feels like yet.

oh yeah - mental note - buy a cheap breast pump and start going to work on it next week.... which one were you using Jess? I don't want to go ahead and buy the fancy one until I know for sure the plumbing is definately going to work so I was thinking of picking up a manual one to try out in the meantime....

you can also self express but your hand will get tired....

SP, I'm not sure if I can take another week of this let alone 4 weeks. I think I might spontaneously combust or something... Hey, it could happen Wink

My pump is manual. I read you should do it one breast at a time and 30 minutes for it to be effective. These were a little different then my BH. Like warm menstrual cramps that made their way around my belly and back. I find BH to be a little more intense.

I have the Medela Harmony.
