What are you using in your room for baby, beside a pack n play? Our room is fairly small, and there is no way a PNP will fit. I'm thinking maybe an Arms Reach mini? Thoughts/reviews from anyone using this?
We have a fairly small room, but we just have the crib in there and keep the side down all the time (the side closest to the bed). Evan isn't moving around yet, so its not as if he's going to fall our of the crib (the mattress is about 4-6 inches below the top of the side of the crib). Almost like a cosleeper
I would love to have a cosleeper, but not in the budget. I think they are great.
A PNP will not fit in our tiny bedroom that has a king size bed! I am borrowing a bassinet and it will fit next to the bed- I won't have room to walk around it though!
We are using a bassinett that has worked out awesome so far. DD loves it and just this week she has began to STTN (hope its just not a passing fancy).
Other features of the bassinett include a mini mobile, music, and vibrator function... all of these have worked wonderful when DD has been fussy. Below is the link. I should also add that it is pretty compact. That could be a bonus if it is narrow space, or a negative as LO may not be able to use it for a lot of months.
I have an Arm's Reach..got it for a really good price on Craigslist. To be honest though, we used it for all of a week and then took it out. We ended up not getting any sleep at all because every peep and , and since I found b/fing in bed too difficult, It was easier just to put them in the crib in their own room, which is right next to ours. I also felt like they didn't sleep well in there..maybe because its less comfortable than the crib?
we have one in our room. he lasted a week in it. now he just sleeps in bed with us. i told dh last night that i cannot wait to put him in a crib. i never thought i'd say that! they have little 'bassinets' that fit in bed, maybe that would work for you.

we are using a travel PNP that we borrowed from a friend. it is smaller, and more compact.
