I was super surprised that i was pregnant.. I felt the same way i did every other month before my period so it was a shock this morning:)

I was surprised... but not shocked. Actually, I was a bit dumbfounded!

DH and I decided to start trying on a Saturday, and I had my BFP exactly two weeks later. So, I was surprised that it happened on the first try -- but not shocked because it was what we wanted. I just kept staring at it saying, "Is a FAINT line a LINE?", over and over...

Me!

We weren't trying but we weren't totally being responsible either... But my BFP really surprised me mostly because I had no symptoms when I tested. (With DS I did.) I tested because DH had a feeling! Go figure. And he was right!

I was totally surprised. I'd been on the pill for years and we got pregnant the first month off of it. I thought I was having PMS symptoms and when my period didn't come, took a test - figured I was stressed or something and it was just late. I was so shocked! I called in sick to work that day.

We definitely thought we missed our window too. I'd been going through fertility treatments and then turned to TCM which can take a few cycles to start working. On our first cycle with that I O'd (but FF told me I O'd a week earlier, then changed it the week after) later and we had sex 9 days before I O'd. I thought there was no possible way.

?Me! We had sex once the month I got PG. Imagine my surprise when I got two lines. ?I had what I thought was a horrible head cold so I had medicine in one hand and a test in the other. ?I took the test just so that I can feel ok taking the medicine, I never thought it would be positive. ?We could not be happier?

We were, we knew we wanted to have baby #3 this year, but were not trying to get PG when we did. Apparently family planning is not our forte!

One night DH asked me where my period was, it has not even occured to me I was late. So I got a test the next day, and voila.. BFP.

A very welcome, happy surprise.

I was on a birth control study...yaz...the kind you can skip up to three months of your period...I had been on it for a year and the study was ending....My nurse says Im the only one that has gotten pregnant in the study...and shes nervous now cause her daughter is on this study....were excited....

I was. I had miscarried on Oct. 4th '08 and my cycle stayed right on track (which also suprised me), in November I had my BFP. DH and I wanted a baby but we didn't expect it to be so soon which was AWESOME!

What kind of "study" is it? If it's just trying the BCP, many women (I have no freakin clue how) get pregnant on BCP while most don't. User error mostly.

I definitely was. We weren't preventing, so I guess we were considered trying. Nov and Dec were such busy months, and I was so stressed, trying to conceive a baby was the last thing on my mind. My mom had passed away Dec 14, so I was stressed, emotional and super busy I didn't even notice I missed my period until 5 days later. We took a test just to be sure, and were SO surprised to find a BFP!

We were surprised!! DH and I have been trying for a couple of months, but because of the holidays, we decided to not worry about our window of opportunity and it happened. I think I'm about 6 weeks along but am getting an u/s in 2 weeks for an exact date.

LOL...Yes, we weren't trying, and we were actively preventing (not very well I'm afraid). We are super excited though since we did try about 5 months ago and nothing happened. We were going to try again this summer...I guess this baby had other plans

We were shocked. I have been off the pill since Oct 2007 and didn't have any luck. I have having irregular cycles which made it hard to plan when would O. on 12/17 I had an ultrasound and they found at 15 cm cyst on my right ovary. I was scheduled to have surgery to have it removed on 1/13. During my pre-op testing on 1/9 my blood work came back that I was pregnant. The Dr called me that night to tell me the good news and that they have to reschedule my surgery until the 2nd trimester. We were shocked bc after we found out I had a cyst we stopped trying. Turns out I conceived the same week we found out about the cyst. Had my 1st u/s on Tues. All is well, so far, except the heartbeat was low. I have a follow u/s next Tues

I wasn't expecting it. I thought our timing was way off. However a week before I got my BFP my DH told me that he thought I was pregnant. He said he just had a feeling and I told him that I doubted it. I guess he was right!

We both were really suprised. We had only been married for a month, and were exactly trying, but weren't doing our best to prevent either. I kept looking at both tests I took, and my DH kept telling me, they aren't going to change. Once the initial, 'omg it can happen that fast' wore off we were both really happy about it and now can't wait till the little one comes.

Although we were trying, I had spotting at 12dpo and I though AF was on her way. So I was surprised when the spotting went away and my temp went up at 14dpo. That day I got my BFP.

Not I. DH and I had great timing and my symptoms during my 2ww were different than before. The biggest clue for me that something was up was that I had a ton of creamy/wet cm during my 2ww. That had never happened before so I figured something was up. I was so convinced that I tested at 9DPO, not with fmu, and I got a positive hpt.

We were pleasantly surprised. We had been sort of trying, but decided not to focus on it during the holidays. What is great is that I prayed to get pregnant as my Christmas present...We definitely got the best Christmas gift ever!

Me! I had been on birth control for two years! Although, alot of pregnancies are user error type situations, I took mine exactly how I was supposed to! When my period was unusually 4 days late I took a test for the heck of it, and almost passed out when a blue plus sign showed up! I was a little less shocked after the 5th plus sign! lol
