Snarky and T-TTC

I need your thoughts/insight please!

Hello ladies...I had a question and I really hope you can help.

Quick facts: came off BCP (on for 8yrs) in late Aug. Last AF was early Sept (obviously chemically induce from the BCP). Started Prometrium 1/5-1/14 and still no withdrawal bleeding.

Had u/s yesterday due to a right sided ache for 2 weeks. Turns out I have a tiny follicular cyst (1mm)....but my endometrial lining is only 3mm.

My doc wants to do Estrogen followed by Prometrium again.

I am so scared...I have been googling all morning.  My Prolactin, TSH were normal. I am 26 yrs old and healthy.

What's going to happen if I started the estrogen/progestrone and I get AF.....but then what would happen the following months? Anyone experience this?

Please give some thoughts!

I'm an Executive Assistant and while I'm a very competent person,   I'm guessing you may want to ask your doctor this question.

Thank you.  I do realize this.  It's hard to think of and ask all these questions when you have the doc on the phone for already 2 minutes.  I was hoping maybe I would come across someone who has been in a similar situation.

lol, i've been there.  the questions pop up after you hang up the phone and it's a pain to get the doc back on the phone.  no advice, don't have experience with that.  lots of luck though.

meh, maybe luck's not the word.  lots of scientifically proven success?

This is why I'm a fan of carrying a notepad with me...

Sorry, no advice for you. Totally understand about coming up with questions after the call, though. Sometimes it seems to me like doctors don't expect questions; they just expect you to do what you're told to do and not think about it. You HAVE to think about it, though, and you're right to have questions. Call the doc's office and get him to call you back. Ask all the questions you have.
