weird day
My annual review is at 11 and meanwhile I'm sitting her waiting for my phone to ring about the interview yesterday.
Self reviews are pointless and dumb. You've already decided if you're going to give me a 3-5% raise or not. Just tell me if there is anything I need to work on and let's get this over with.

Review went well. 2% raise only. I wasn't really expecting one at all given the economic situation and our field. I had a really rough year after getting moved into a different position that was a really bad fit. I was able to take my old job back a couple of months ago and we nervous at how the previous 10 months would effect (affect?) everything. Luckily my current boss is f'ing awesome and said she didn't want to talk about the old stuff because it didn't matter anymore.

Ugh I feel your pain. I had to do a self review last week, and now my boss has this week to finish her part and send it off to her boss. God only knows.
