late 3rd tri ladies...

just wondering if any of you know your progress.  like do you know how far dilated and effaced you are?  a little over a week ago i was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced.  also did they check your fluid levels?  what were they? 

my dr. said he wanted to see me every week (that was a few weeks ago) and last time i went in he was out of town so i saw a different dr.  once he checked me and told me everything looked good he scheduled me for 2 weeks.  i told him that my dr. wanted to see me every week and he said it wasn't necessary, so i went ahead and scheduled 2 weeks.  my next appt. is on tues. but my only concern is, is that it hurts to pee.  not like an infection but like she wants out.  it feels like she is right there and if i push too hard i'll be seeing my little girl (sorry tmi)  i have also been cramping really bad, like bad menstrual cramps, not all the time but throughout the day i will get them.  not sure the point of telling you all that but i guess i'm just wondering if labor is near?  dr. has me on bedrest and told me i will probably go early and once i hit 34 weeks they wouldn't stop it.

    No help here, my doc will not do an internal until 40wks! I wish I knew if I was progressing.

    I just had my first internal today today and I am 2 cm and about 60% effaced. I get that same feeling you do when I go to the bathroom and have been having period like cramps too. I thought she might fall out too but when I was checked today the Dr. said her head was way up so I guess she isn't going to ;) I haven't had my fluid levels checked and don't think I will.

    I had an internal on Friday and I'm not dilated at all.  He didn't say anything about being effaced either. I go twice a week for NSTs, but I can't imagine I'll get bi-weekly internals, so I think my next one will be next Friday.  I hope I'm dilated at least one cm!

    No internals for me yet.  My next appt is 2/2... I will be having an NST then... so I will hear the heartbeat and they will also be able to check on contractions.  I dont know if they will do the internal then.

     I know what you are feeling though.  I am feeling it too... I wonder if the baby is starting to drop.

    As of Tuesday, I was 90% effaced and 1/2 cm dilated.  I had to do an ultrasound to check fluid levels because the doc was concerned that I had lost weight (I had had the flu for several days the prior week).  Fluid levels were 15.5 or something which was on the low side of normal.  So, I have another appointment Monday where I'll get another internal and u/s.  I know what you mean about peeing.  I almost feel like I have a bladder infection or something (but I don't).
