How bad is it that... (rant)

I've been working on a district handbook with some of the principals and supervirors.  They sent me the finished product, and I noticed they had changed some of what I had writting.  Now it sounds terrible.  I want to edit the shiit out of it.  Actually I am, and I'm going to send it back to them again.

Don't they understand?  It's the medical section! I'm the nurse on this project...  TRUST ME, the way I said things were correct.  Don't change them around bc now it is hard to follow and makes me/everyone look like an idiot.

    That sucks. I would definitely do what you're doing and edit it. Let them know what you said- that you said things correctly and they need to be left as is.

    Yea, laymen shouldn't mess with medical jargon. Tiny edits could change the whole intended meaning.

    Glad you found it before it went to final print!

    LOL, I was just talking to the secretary.  She told me to "Relax, stop being so being such a control freak."  My reply was... "I'm not a control freak, I'm just type A, and I like things my way." Embarrassed

    Err, I have issues.

    I hate that. My boss isn't half the writer I am (yes, I know that sounds very snotty, whatever) and she sometimes edits my stuff and makes it worse. Suck.
