bumper pads - anyone else using them?

i think i'm going to use them.. maybe not once he/she is moving around alot though. Anyone eles plan on using them? And how bad can they be if they continue to sell them with practically every set?

I will be. I used them with my son and had no problems what so ever. If she does tend to move towards them as she sleeps (once she can squirm around) I will take them off.

I have a breathable bumper and I really like it. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a bedding set anyway - we just got sheets and the breathable bumper and it's fine for us

I'm going to use bumpers. I'm much more worried about other things than the bumpers...

we used it for about 4mos with DS only b/c it came with the set - then we got a breathable bumper.

we're not getting sets for the twins b/c we now know they are a total waste of money. I'm making the crib skirts, getting coordinating sheets and breathable bumpers.

Yes, we are using them too. We'll take them off when we feel that we need to. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would just skip the bumper, but I bought a bedding set. We won't do that for baby #2.

I am -- asked for the regular bumpers and the breatheable, and figure I'll just change them out once the babies get too active.

If I get any, I'll be re-purposing them for something else. Wall Hanging or pillows perhaps...
