How'd your first Menopur injection go last night? Any of the advice/tips help? ;-)

Hey, thanks for asking.

It went alright - better than I was thinking. I had a rough time with the belly injection for follistim when I starting stimming so I was pretty nervous.

It does burn a bit. I sat on the couch (half lying) pinched and injected. I pushed the plunger pretty slowly b/c I heard that's supposed to make it easier. So, all in all - it well pretty well.

How are you doing?

Yeah - letting it sit for a bit after mixing and then injecting slowly helped me, too.

So far, so good. Just dealing with the bloat, Lovenox, and PIO injections and waiting for Saturday for the ET. Yay!

Did they give you an approx trigger date yet?

Yay for the ET!!!

I don't have an approx. trigger date, but I go in for a u/s Friday. I'm thinking they're hoping for me to trigger Friday and have IUI on Sat, TI on Sunday. Which is fine - but I feel a little gypped because last time we did B2B (but they don't do IUI's on Sundays).

Booo! Maybe they can lower your dosage or stop your stimming to push you out a bit so you can do B2B's starting Monday? I may be talking nonsense, but it sounds good to me! lol

We'll see. I don't know if they'd want to do that since I'm already on day 12 of stims...
