AW: First appointment and sonogram!!!

Yesterday was my first dr apt and it all went well. She said everything looked/sounded/felt great, which was great news of course. She did want me to come in for a sonogram though, b/c I had surgery about 4 years ago that involved my fallopian tube and she wanted to make sure all was well.?

I got to go do that today, and it was AMAZING!!! I got to see my little blueberry for the first time, and now it is sooo real- I'm a mommy! The heartbeat was strong at 158bpm, and I could see it's little arms and legs and head. In fact, it put its arms in front of its face like "don't look at me- I'm shy". It was so cute! The sonogram dated me a week ahead too- 10wks 4days, which is great! So, my official due date is now Aug 15th, and everything looks great. I couldn't be happier!!!

Unfortunately, my DH couldn't go with me-he's at a work thing in Alabama for 6 wks. But I got the images on a CD and told him all about it and he'll be home for the next one.?

I'm just over the moon today- I'm a mommy!!?
