Thanks for all the well wishes. Everything went well. We did arrive a little frazzled. Traffic was a b!tch getting into Denver today so we were 15 minutes late. DH got to be in the room with me which was really cool. I remember basically nothing so it's nice that he can tell me what was going on. I'm pretty nauseous right now, and yet hungry. I hate that.
Anyways, they got 15 eggs. We won't hear until later how many were mature and how good DH's sample was. I'm happy. 15 is what we got last time, but this time was much less eventful. The procedure went well and I am really not as risk for OHSS at all. The sent me home with some decongestants to take as a preventative measure, but really probably not necessary. Hopefully those eggies aren't quite as fried this time and we can get some good looking embies

My Blog
Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. When they remove the eggs from the follicles they tend to refill with fluid. Sometimes the fluid drains into your abdomen- OHSS. This is much more likely to happen if you have a very large number of follicles or your E2 is quite high. Last time my E2 ws 6796 at trigger making OHSS a definite risk (and I developed it). This time it was 2888. Much better. OHSS is much less likely with an E2 <4000
