It's official I am PG (after m/c no w/no period)

Back Story: I had a D&C  November 29th and have not had a period since, last week I got a + hpt. I had bloodwork done yesterday today and the results show I am pregnant, my hcg level was at 35,000 which seems pretty high considering I can only be 7 weeks at most. My next ob appt is on Feb 2nd to determine my due date, we are so excited! I can't belive it happened that fast after the miscarriage.

    ahh! I am so happy for you! I read your story when you replied to my post the other day and have been checking the message boards since to hear an update. What great news! I am still awaiting a call back from the docs office to go in for testing. So you guys were not actively trying? Thank you for sharing your happy story!

    wow...I have been dreaming of such a miracle.  Congratulations.  I'm new to the Bump.  I have a teenager, had an IUD for 8 years.  First try ended in a missed m/c at 8 weeks, had a d/c 1-16-09.  waiting for the bleeding to stop... I'm 32 any recommendations?

    BABY X - I too had an IUD (for over 2 years) taken out before my m/c. I don't have any recommendations but to try again, DH and I didn't even know we were trying and it happened! From what I have read you are very fertile after a m/c. My mom got pregnant right away after a D&C too.

    COngrats!  this gives me hope!

     

    just a question, did your Dr say anything about your uterus not being ready? i don't want to scare you, but i've read that and I just want to see what the Dr's opinion is.

    Its true that you are very fertile right after M/c but its suggested that you wait at least one cycle so your interior wall of your uterus has time to regenerate so it's strong enough to hold the sac tightly. Be careful and talk to your docs!
