Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Bald Babies vs. Full Head of Hair Babies

Have to admit I'm a little jealous all these babies with full heads of hair. Even though I love my little baldy/peach fuzz baby!!

Re: Bald Babies vs. Full Head of Hair Babies

  • DS has light peach fuzz too, I love it!!

  • I envy you! You don't have to blow dry your child's hair every night in this cold.

She has so much it just doesn't dry and I have to blow it.

  • Yeah I was too. DS was born with lots of hair. Then it all fell out and now he's a peach fuzz guy. By a year or so you'll see way more hair usually. DS's hair started growing a lot in the past month or so. I doubt he'll be getting his first haircut anytime soon but I could see him having enough to brush in a few months.

  • I love the baldy.  So low maintenance! I figure she'll be having hair crisises the rest of her life - I will relish the baldness now.

  • DD has tons of hair but she is a sweaty monkey! If I am not careful she can have a very stinky head.  But, I love putting bows and styling it.
  • I love my bald babies....they are bautiful.  But I do sometimes wish we had a little more going on, on top!  But I think most babies pull off whatever they have...bald or tons of hair.

  • I LOVE all of DD's crazy hair. Everyone always comments on it b/c they've never seen a baby with so much hair before. It's funny to see people's reactions when they find out she's only 9 months old! It is kind of a pain, though, to have to wash all the time. If we don't wash her hair at least every other night it gets pretty greasy. I guess it comes with the territory, though! I'm really interested to see if this next baby comes out with a bunch of hair too, or if it'll be bald :)
  • I love DS's hair, but it would be nice to not have to worry about keeping it neat and trimmed!  He has had 3 haircuts already, and each one was more difficult to do!
  • Maybe this will make you feel better.  Stick out tongue

OMG, she looks like Elvis!  So cute!

  • I love DDs hair.  People cannot believe she can get a full hair of pigtails at 6 months.  Combing it is a disaster though.

  • Well, at leas you will save money by not cutting your DC's head

DS is only 7 months and he has had already 3 haircuts! he was born needing one! LOL

  • I think all babies are beautiful just the way they are (well most -Jlo's were pretty ugly), but I must admit I love Oliver's hair. teehee!
  • Your pic was the reason I posted. Saw her pic, too cute.
  • DH calls her Beethoven when her hair looks like that. It can be a pain, but I am a total attention whore for it, especially when we're out and about. I think because it's so dark it really catches peoples' attention.

It's so funny how I never really even noticed other babies before and now I oooh and ahhh over them. There are such cute babies on this board. (There's my puppies and rainbows for you for the day.)
