He is getting all his vacation and holiday pay, and 10 weeks of severance. They paid him crap for the level of work he was doing, so hopefully because he wasn't making boucoup bucks he will be able to find something with a comparable salary quickly.
I'm scared though to continue to TTC right now, because I am not comfortable without 1/2 our normal income. Crazy how life can change in one day.

I'm so sorry! I totally feel your pain. FWIW, my husband managed to find a new gig in a pretty short span of time. It might be a blessing in disguise.
It made me feel a tiny bit better to evaluate where we could cut our expenses, and then chop away.
