another question- cramps

I was told by my dr that cramps are supposed to last 48-72 hours, and I read online they can last up to two weeks.  How long did your cramps last?  My d&c was last tuesday and I am still having pretty painful cramps

    I had my D&C 1/9 and am still having cramps. They're not unbearable, but fairly annoying. I'm still taking Tylenol every 4-6 hrs. I had my f/u appt. this morning and my OB said if they're not gone by next Weds. that she'll set up an u/s to make sure that the uterus doesn't have any remaining material. If they're really painful I would check in w/ your OB. GL to you and I'm sorry for your loss.

    I had noticeable cramps for about 8 days after m/c...I didn't have a d/c though. If you feel something isn't right I you should contact your OBGYN..When is your follow-up appointment? We had a one a week after the m/c and they checked to make sure my cervix was closed. By that time the cramps where become less and less...still bleeding though.

    d&c was 1/13 and my follow up was 1/16 but he didn't check anything.  just reaffirmed everything he told me right before surgery.  I think if they are bothering me I am going to call tomorrow

    My cramps stopped about 3-4 days after D&C. Good luck!
