okay...I am freaked out. Paige is just not moving like she was there for a few weeks. Maybe once a day lately. I get her on the Doppler every time though. Should I call the doctor, or is this normal? I hate feeling like a crazy paranoid person!
My doctor told me at my last appt. not to be surprised if the movement changes and I go a day or so without feeling her much. I think it's at 28 weeks that they start having you do regular kick counts. Until that point, movement isn't regular yet.
But I stress about it too! Just last night, I couldn't remember if I had felt her move all day. But definite movement this morning at breakfast!
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!
Try some ICE water and lie down. See if you can feel her move within an hour. If you can't, I would definitely call. Everything is probably just fine, but let the OB determine that!
My OB practice was more than happy to do a quick doppler check when my DD wasn't moving well.
Same thing happened to me at 25 weeks and I went to L&D and got hooked up to the monitors...sure enough he was moving all around, but he moved to a new position and I just couldnt feel it anymore. I would lay down, drink some juice and relax and see what happens. If you are still nervous about it I would call the OB.
This happened to me too. My midwife sent me to L&D and I spent a couple hours hooked up to monitors, and he was moving so much we had to keep moving the sensors. Midwife figured he had changed positions, so I wasnt feeling his movement as much. An ultrasound the next day confirmed that was exactly what had happenend. Call your OB, it is worth it for your peace of mind.
like pp said, drink some milk, juice, water or ginger ale and stay on your back for a bit. I had a similar situation when I didn't feel virginia for almost 2 days. I went to the ER and was put on a monitor for many hours. most likely the baby switched positions and I wasn't able to feel her kicks. good thing you are hearing the h/b. that's very reassuring and should give you peace of mind.

Movements do change, as long as she IS moving, you should be ok.
But don't feel bad about calling the dr if you need reassurance.
Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! Expecting again after IVF
I really don't feel my babies all that much and I always get worried but I had a u/syesterday and they were moving all aroudn. I don't know why I dont' feel them!
Ditto to what everyone else said. Call your doctor if you are really worried. I went in to see my OB at 26 weeks since I was sick and hadn't felt Reed move in about a day. He was fine. She found the heartbeat right away and sure enough as soon as I got to her office, he was moving all around!
