Snarky and T-TTC

first round of clomid and major mood swings!

Okay, so this is my first month of clomid and I thought I might be in for a few side effects since it's a lower dose, but I feel very sorry for my DH.  We were watching a show about a beach rescue, the mom was rejoined with her daughter and it was all very dramatic and I started CRYING!  What? 

Okay, so I also have to admit I'm a fitness-aholic and work out 6 days a week: cardio every day, abs every other day, and muscle groups the days I don't do abs.  Since I've been TTC for 6+ months, should I cool it on the abs?  Would lots of crunches be bad if we're trying to get pregnant?  At this point, I'm willing to try about anything.  Any ideas?

  • I know, I asked him but he wasn't specific.  He told me that working out was healthy, just not push myself, not quite sure what that means though.  I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas

    please explain to me how ttc for 6+ months (you weren't specific) has to do with abdominal exercises?   that's a gp question at best but even they would probably tell you to talk to your doctor

    You work out 6 days a week and you don't know what "don't push yourself" means?

  • my cheer coach in college was also an aerobics instructor.   She did hundreds of crunches several times a day leading her classes up until her 7th month of pregnancy - when her doc finally told her to cut back.   You'll be fine doing ab work while TTC.   I don't know why you wouldn't be.
