Eric attends preschool 2 days a week, 4 hrs each time. ?He started when he was 2.5 yrs old (and was potty-trained). ?It is just down the street from us (less than a mile) and we pay $385/month for him to attend.

My big girls both went to 3 y/o (2 mornings a week, about $1300 a school year) and 4 y/o (3 mornings a week, about $1800 a school year) preschool that is less than a 10 min drive from my house.?

$330 a month for 3 days 3 hrs ea day (we get 1/2 off b/c dh is faculty, it's a preschool on a college, not daycare, only takes 2 1/2 yrs to kindergarten)

well, it's less than 10miles... but it takes at least 1/2 hr to get there. gotta love a big city.

DS is almost 2, and he goes 2 mornings a week from 9-1. It costs $160/month, and is about a 12 minute drive from home. Next year he'll be in the 2 year old class and probably go 3 mornings a week at a cost of $190/month (will find out shortly if we got into the 3 day class, if not we'll be in the 2 day class which is also fine with me!).

It takes about ten minutes to get there form our house - but it's probably less than 4 miles.
