Recommended OB-GYN

I'm moving to Gilbert AZ in early sept. and will need to find a new dr.  Anyone have any suggestion?  I prefer a female dr. Thanks

Re: Recommended OB-GYN

  • Dr.Leslie Johnstone

    She is AWESOME!!

  • I actually have a male, but he has a female NP that I really like, and a midwife who is a female also.  And he delivers at Mercy in Gilbert!

Dr. David Kells, you can find it on the web under Boojum Obstetrics.

  • Women's Comprehensive Medicine in Gilbert is awsome. Dr. Susan Kudlinski is so sweet, comforting, and supportive. I have been with her since my first child in 2005, and have been more than happy with her!
  • Goodman & Partridge are awesome!! They have flexible hours and they have offices all over the valley in case you need to see someone on your lunch hour and aren't near the normal office you go to... They do nights/ weekends and early mornings. I absolutely love their offices... I have Dr. Jarem at the office on Lindsey and Williamsfield

  • I second Goodman & Partridge!  I go to the Chandler office, but they have other offices that are probably more convenient for you.  All the docs I've interacted with have been great!

  • I go to Valley Women for Women.  Their whole staff is all women, which I really like.  They have an office at Baseline and Gilbert and a new one at Val Vista and the 202, right next to Mercy Gilbert Hospital.

  • I do not recommend Goodman and Partridge, I've been to their office 3 times and have been seen by 3 different people. They are WAY too busy to give you the personal care you deserve.

I am seeing Dr. Lisa Hollar right now with East Valley Ob/Gyn in Mesa and she has been really great. Super sweet and patient, the office staff is really awesome, too.

  • I also go to Drs Goodman and Partridge on Lindsay and Williamsfield.  Both my SIL were delivered by Dr. Goodman, but I see Dr. Ference.  I really like her, she answers all of my questions w/o making me feel dumb.  I've also called the afterhours hotline a couple times with concerns, and they are awesome as well.  Gl!
  • I would rec. Caring For Women in Scottsdale and Phoenix. This is an all women practice. The doctors and NPs are great and the only men you might se there are nervously waiting in the waiting room. They have a really nice office. I started going there 10 years ago and have really been comfortable.
  • And I would not recommend Dr. Hollar.  We found her to be less than compassionate.  We ran into complications and she signed over my care to high risk once I was admitted to the hospital, which was fine, but never again contacted me to see how I was doing either while I was in the hospital or after discharged.   A friend recommended Contemporary Care for Women, although I have not been to them yet so I can't comment.
  • I go to Today's Women's Health Specialists in Chandler.  It's at Warner and Alma School and I love it!  There are 2 female doctors and 3 men and also a few female NP's and PA's.
