Not all companies recognize them as a legit college even though you can earn a degree from them and they are accredited. Talk to someone in the field of which you wish to get your degree in and ask them how companies in that industry view them. It really does vary. I opted not to sign up with them when my company's HR department said that a degree from them was viewed no differently than a degree from a junior college. To me, that would have been a waste of time and an even bigger waste of money.
This is totally hearsay but someone at my company nicked named a degree from them a "Vending machine degree" implying that you are buying your education from them and not earning it. I don't know if that is true.

Wow, that is disappointing to hear because it costs so much and they seem to run their classes really intensively....
I am starting my search into them, I will let you know what I decide.
The only thing I know about them was when I was going to Cal State Hayward a girl in one of my classes had a degree from there but CSUH wouldn't accept most of the classes so she had to retake a ton of them. ?I've also heard that a lot of companies don't look at it as a real degree.?

Actually, I am looking into CSU EBay (aka cal hayward) because they also have the degree I want and are unlike SJSU still taking applications for Fall 09.
SJSU is my top choice...but they froze acceptance and are not taking any more because of the budget cuts.
So maybe I would be better going to CSU EBay, it would just have been nice to take everything online
My sister got her teaching credential through them and had a great experience. She did an accelerated program and was able to continue working full time and complete her credential program.
Re: University of Pheonix, have experience?
I looked into them. This is what I found:

Actually CSU EBay and CSUSF are still taking applications for upper class transfer and in my major....
I am going to have to decide which is most reasonable for me to get to...
