  • 1. Do you read/save/collect any books? Which ones?

Eh... not really.  I buy books and tend to read them a few times and then sell them at Half-Priced Books or I just borrow them from the Library.

    2. Do you read/save/collect any magazines? Which ones?

Yes!!!  I love all the ideas and articles in Real Simple Magazine and I have every issue from the last two years.  I also save American Baby Magazine and have the last 2 years of it as well.

    3. Where do you store them all?

I have them all in a cabinet next to our entertainment center in the living room.

  • I love to read but I do not buy books normally because I am not someone who reads a book more than once.  I have a couple autographed books from my favortie author Janet Evanovich but that is about it unless you count cookbooks.  I have a massive collection of cookbooks that I store on a bookshelf near our kitchen.

I read tons of magazines but save none of them.  If there is something I want from it I usually just tear out the page and save them in a binder.

  • 1. Yes to all - we have maybe 300-400 books. We store them in built in book shelves in our living room, some shelving in our sitting room, and I have about 20 in the bedroom. I keep every book I have read and enjoyed.

    2. We have subscriptions to a few - The Economist, Cooking Light, Real Simple, Martha Stewart, US Weekly, Conde Naste, Boston Magazine, and In Style. I only keep some Real Simples and all Cooking Lights (I keep them in magazine holders in our office). I also cut articles/pictures out of other magazines and keep them in 3-ring biders I have (one for recipes, one for house ideas, etc)

  • 1.  I save all the books I read (if I like them).

    2.  I save my Family Fun, Scrapbooks, etc., and Quilting magazines

    3. I have magazine holders and only store a year at a time (then I cut out articles I want to save and toss/recycle the rest.  I'm still working on storage ideas for my books.  So far, they're in a box in the basement.

  • 1. Architecture ones mostly

    2. Architectural Record, Dwell, Metropolis, Real Simple, Martha Stewart Living, etc.  I save most of them.

    3. Living & Simple are in a trunk, the Architecture mags are on shelves.

  • 1. Do you read/save/collect any books? Which ones? I wouldn't say we collect them, but we do keep all hardcover books.  I like to get first editions,  if I can, of books by my favorite authors.

    2. Do you read/save/collect any magazines? Which ones? We give these away at work (my husband's work only now)

    3. Where do you store them all? We've got five bookshelves, and another few boxes full under the bed.

  • 1. Do you read/save/collect any books? Which ones?  I don't really buy books anymore, I go to the library.  If we do buy them, we have about 20 bookcases (cheap Ikea ones) for them.  They're currently overflowing though so we definitely need more.

    2. Do you read/save/collect any magazines?
Read:  Fit Pregnancy, Fitness, Cooking Light, Cooks Illustrated, Parents, American Baby.
    Save:  Cooking Light sometimes.
    Collect:  not so much.

    3. Where do you store them all?   I don't.  After I'm done with them I give them away.  I don't really see a need to keep mags around.  If it's a cooking mag I'll scan any recipes I'm interested in so that I have it and then give the mag away a few months later.
  • I have all the books I've ever bought and they're just stored on bookshelves in our guest bedroom. I need to sort through them and get rid of some. One of my many to-do lists!

The only magazines I save are my Real Simple ones. Everything else I donate to our local hospital.

So far, the magazines are just in a basket. I have been meaning to go through them all and pull out all the articles and recipes that I want and discard the rest.
