I was looking for a twins memory book and can either find ugly ones or the one I love was $130, and I can't justify spending that much. Or do I just have 2 seperate books? What have you guys done? Or if you can recommend your memory book, I would greatly appreciate it!
TIA!
Re: Twins Memory Book?
Check out the book on www.justmultiples.com called "Twice Upon a Time". One book is all about you and your twin pregnancy, while the other is about the babies... It shows samples of a few of the pages as well to give you a better idea of what it offers. I believe it can be special ordered from Coles as well as Chapters.
My mom has suggested that keeping a separate book for each of them would be a good idea (You can make it from the info. in the shared one!) that way you always have your little keepsake and they'll each have one to take with them as well. I like the idea...
I had planned to find a single book, but the ladies on this board suggested 2 separate books so that they can each have one as an adult.
I don't have a baby book for me, but DH's parents gave us his baby book and I have LOVED reading it. MIL was a volunteer at a nursing home when pg and she got all these $1, $2, and $5 gifts from the residents there, which was so sweet to see documented. It was also really neat to see which family visited DH after he was born. And I got to see & feel the clipping of his first haircut (awwwww!).
So, now, we are planning on doing 2 different baby books (same style though). I do love the idea of pp in doing a digital scrapbook, and I plan to do the shower stuff that way (more room for pics that way).
I bought the Twice Upon a Time books and they just came today. You get 2 books that each have 2 parts - one for pregnancy and one for the baby information.
I really like them because it does have the information for each baby but also acknowledges the twin stuff too. I think they are pretty cool and very glad I ordered them.
