Fertile Focus Ovulation Microscope & Ovulation Tracking

Hi! 
Must husband and I have started talking about starting a family and doing some reading on it.  In one of our books it suggested using a Ovulation Microscope.  Has anyone used this before?  Did you think it was effective?  Anyother tips on tracking ovulation?   I have started charting my temp...just wanted to see what else we could do to boost our odds!

    I've never used an ovulation microscope, and don't know anybody who has. I've used a monitor some months, and OPKs others.?

    It was in this book I got... "The Everything Getting Pregnant".  My DH thinks it would be "cool" to have a microscope!  Ha! 

    I am new to this...can someone explain what an OPK is?

    I've heard of it but don't know anyone who uses it.  I chart, use OPKs & just started using a CBEFM this cycle.  Any reason for the microscope?

    I DO have one of the microscopes.  It was interesting to see the patterns, but never predicted anything for me that made sense.  I wouldn't bother.

    OPK:  Ovulation predictor kit.  it's a pee test.  positive when you have your LH surge pre-O.

    I've heard of the mircroscope, but don't know anyone that has actually used it. I currently am using OPK's and the OV-Watch for the first time this cycle. I will let you know how it goes with the OV-Watch, since it is saying I will ovulate tomorrow.

    I was never good at charting and temping - too hard for me to wake up a the same time every morning.

    I tried this for 2 cycles, but it was very VERY hard to interpret, and was very subjective.  Not worth it IMO.

    I have the Fertile Focus microscope.  It works okay.  I would say it's as good as OPK's - at least for me.  My lines were always difficult to interpret on the OPKs -which one was darker.  It's very obvious when  you have ferning and when you don't.  However, it still didn't help me get pregnant.  I'm now using the fertility monitor.
