I am looking to get pregnant soon and wanted to see if anyone could recommend an OBGYN to me. I really don't want a guy. I prefer women.

Do you mind driving to St Clair Shores. Dr Venna Chari delivered both of my children at St John Hospital. She was really nice and easy to talk to. She was awesome at the deliveries.

I don't any more but if I did, I would definately choose a St. John doctor. I know 3 people who have had high risk pregnancies and all were referred to doctors who delivered out of St. John main. Unless something has changed in the last few years, they have an excellent reputation and if there are any complications with the baby they are treated at Children's Hospital.

I grew up in Warren and used to see Dr. Valentini at Eastside Ob-Gyn -- it's around 12 and little mack. Now I'm going to Oakland-Macomb Ob-Gyn, and I like it there too -- that's out at Hall and Dequindre.

I live in Shelby but go to a doc in Roseville Eastside Gyno. Tell have both dr. My doc is a male and I live him... good luck with your search..

I go to Oakland-Macomb too and LOVE THEM! They are all so great there. They have drs or midwives to choose from.

Is Clawson too far? If not, Dr. Sandler-Goldberg, she is very nice, easy to talk to.

I would totall reccommend my doctors at Women 2 Women in St. Clair Shores.. I don't have the number on me right now, but the office is at 9 mile and Harper and they deliver at St. John's Hospital on Moross. All 3 doctors are women and you will meet all of them during your pre-natal visits.

I had 2 horrible experiences at Eastside Gyn. Plus 13 Dr.'s? How do they ever get to know you as a person and a patient, not just a file?

I switched to Women to Women and they are WONDERFUL! They are also in SCS. Three Dr.'s who are all very nice. Much more my style.

This is my second pregnancy and I went to Eastside with my first one and with this one. My freind went there for both of her pregnancies and my other freind goes there right now too. THere are 10 doctors there. However 1 is a midwife and 1 is not delivering anymore, he is basically just doing gyn stuff. You can choose what dr you wna tfor your appt and you do not have to see all of them. I just went in fro my second one and the dr remembered me. My son is now 2 and 1/2. He remmebered that I had the blood pressure issues adn that with my last. THey are really nice and you can see just the women if you prefer but the one Guy Dr. Blunden is awsome. He is really easy to talk to and he tells just the way it is. The only dr. that I have not had is the newesst one which is dr Mahoney and my friend said that she didn't liek him but the rest are pretty nice.... I hope this might help you. THey also have the lab and ultrasound right in the office.

I just started seeing Mimi Chen DO and LOVE her! I go to her office on Garfield and 19 mile, but I believe she also has an office around 12 and Schoenherr.

For my first OB appointment I was in and out in about an hour. For the first time...ever, I left a doctors office having every question that crossed my mind answered before I could even ask it!
