Did you tell after NT Scan?

We had our NT scan yesterday and they said everything looks great! I am 12 weeks today. We told our immediate family already, but no one else. Did you start telling friends and other family after the NT scan? Also, baby's heart rate was 167 bpm at 9 weeks and is 140 bpm at 12 weeks. Is it normal to see that much of a drop in 3 weeks? I am wondering if anyone else saw that kind of difference b/w the first ultrasound and the NT scan. Thanks for your help!

    We told people way before the NT scan with my first pregnancy, and we have already told most of our family and friends with this one, so I can't really help you there.

    As far as the heartbeat drop...don't worry about that at all.  It can vary a lot from day to day, even different times in the same day.  The baby could have been less active at this visit than it was the last visit.  140 is still a great heart rate.

    We had our NT scan yesterday right before our CVS. That was good enough for DH to tell his boss since she lives in another state.  We'd probably tell everyone else now too, but I'm going to a baby shower this weekend and will wait until after the shower to announce.

    My baby's DB dropped a little bit too - 174 to 158. The specialist was not concerned one bit. :)

    We had our NT scan yesterday as well but told people way before.  I would start telling people whenever you feel comfortable.

    i have my NT scan tomorrow and if everything goes well (which i hope it does) i am gonna climb to the roof top and scream it out haha---- i've been waiting to tell most ppl- a lot do know already though cause i couldn't help myself but i can't wait til i don't have to pick and choose who i want to tell!
