On Clomid, when should I start using opk's?

I am on my first cycle of Clomid and plan to be using opk's for the first time. I go in tomorrow (cd 13) for my first ultrasound but would like to use opk's also. I am very irregular to start with and there's no telling if I am even going to ovulate so I'm not sure when I should start using the sticks. Any ideas?

I usually get the 20 day packet...you can't POAS, you have to dip the stick in a cup....but t least you have 20 days worth, which is good for irregular cycles!

I start mine starting the day after the last pill or at least when I start noticing fertile type mucus and go thru positve and turns back negative. Answer makes a 20 pack for $20.

I usually start testing about 3 days after I finish the clomid.

Well today is the 3rd day since my last pill so I guess I better start testing! I did go to Walgreens the other day and noticed that the daily ovulation test from First Response was $50! I think I'm going to stick with the 7-pack and go from there...

I usually take Clomid days 5-9 and start with OPKs on day 12.

I usually take Clomid cd3-7 and start using the opk's on cd12 as well.
