  We signed up during the summer because we were new to the area, so school wasn't in session. ?I was able to tour the school, see the classroom and meet the director. ?I also had several people recommend it. ??

  We decided to pay month by month instead of ?all year at once, so in case we weren't happy, we could back out. ?(It would have saved 5%.) ?

  ?

  I wish I could have seen school in action first, but dd was able to see her classroom at the meeting and then at an open house, so that was was good.

  ?She started right before 2 years and goes 2 mornings a week.?

  First, I knew where I was interested in looking, so I called those 4 places and scheduled days and times for tours.  I went with another mom also looking for her child.  We asked some questions, watched the interactions and the teachers, and honestly got a vibe/gut feeling that I ended up going with.  I liked 2 or 3, and hated the 4th, but went with this one and he has enjoyed it both years so far.  It was definately a good choice and we are comfortable there.

  I started looking before DD turned 2. I looked at so many schools. We were starting think we were never going to like any of them. They were all just too much like a daycare (kids crammed into tiny dim-lit rooms). At many of the places they had the t.v. on with the kids sitting right in front of it. Most of them were not very clean at all. The directors or teachers were not that friendly.

  One day we walked into a school and me and DH both just knew it was the place. It was clean, bright, the kids seemed happy. DD started there last week and loves it.
