Hi there-
I just found on this afternoon that our frozen embryo transfer has resulted in twins! We were half expecting it b/c our betas were relatively high but you just never know...I don't have many symptoms (I'm 7w0d) and I'm having trouble believing that this is all going on inside my body but I will admit I would lurk on here sometimes just to check out what I might be expecting if it went that way...
So here I am! I know there is a book that all of you seem to recommend by Dr. Luke so I'm going to order it, any other recs for early pregnancy prep? Also recs for something short & sweet for the hubbie would be good- I could barely get him to read a few chapters in a book about IVF before we did that the first time, so I don't really have high hopes he'll read anything else but maybe since this is more about both of us than IVF was...
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: introducing myself...
Welcome, welcome! Aren't you an ML poster? I'm there sometimes, but I mostly lurk.
This board is an awesome resource for pg and beyond. I didn't really read any twin specific book.. I know a lot of women here swear by Dr. Luke's book. ?
Hi!
Nope, I definitely don't lurk on ML, LOL! There is actually someone else on here whose screen name is groovygal or groovygirl I believe.
Welcome over, check out our FAQs section

There is a lot of info that most of us contributed to!
Congrats and welcome to the board!!
Your DH sounds like mine: he won't read any of the books, however he will have a million questions that he'll somehow expect you as the Mom to magically know the answer to - LOL.
Welcome and congrats!

Congrats on your twins.
This is terrible, but whenever I want DH to read something, I put it in the bathroom. Maybe leave Dr. Luke's book in there.
LOL. well, glad I'm not alone.
maybe if I make it look like the wall street journal he'll read it.
