How long for tooth to come in?

Luca is getting 4 new teeth.  All top front teeth..  He has super fussy.  We have be alternating Motrin and Tylenol..  He only wants to eat hotdogs and bananas.. and has been waking up at 5 AM.  This has been going on for over a week..  How long will this last?  I have been able to see the teeth for almost 2 weeks, but they seem to be coming in super slow....  How long does it take a tooth to come completely in...

    FOREVER!  We have been able to see Avery's next 2 teeth for almost a month.  It is making me crazy.

    DITTO. ?Charlotte has been breaking her top two teeth for a couple of weeks now. ?It's nuts. ?I basically just go ahead and give her either Tylenol or Motrin before bedtime just to forestall her waking up in pain. ?It seems to work pretty well. ?I find that Motrin works better than Tylenol, though. ?

    I'd say 3-4 weeks. We have been able to see Connor's last few teeth long before they broke through the skin. His canines have taken the longest so far.

    Ugh, I'm sorry about the slow teething.  I remember that Sarah's top two front teeth were by far the worst in terms of fussiness.
