2nd Trimester

New to 2nd trimester...what happens now?

I'm going into my 13th week and have some q's for those of you who are farther along than me in 2nd trim:

?

I've been feeling so tired and nauseaus for the past 3 months...Will I start to feel better soon. If so, do you think I can start working out a little again?

?

My boobs went from a full C to a full D! Are they gonna get bigger than this cuz if that's the case I'm very scared (I'm tiny in ever other way!)

Thanks ladies!

  • 1. ?Everyone is different, but yes you will probably start to feel better soon. ?Most people feel better, but some people don't.

    2. ?Yes, your boobs are going to get bigger. ?And bigger and bigger.

    ?

    Welcome and good luck!?

  • The nausea should pass but everyone is different, so don't take that too strongly.

And yes - you can look forward to your boobs getting a lot bigger... just wait until your milk comes in during 3rd tri!

  • Welcome!

I felt better right after 13 weeks, I hope you do too. My boobs on the other hand and still growing and have now reached an 40 E ( I started at a 36 D). So I hope every day that they stop. I swim everyday and do yoga 2 times a week. I think everyone is pretty different when it come to all of this.

  • if you haven't picked up a pregnancy book yet, you really should- considering they answer ALL of your above questions with their symptoms layout term by term and week by week
  • And yes, if you feel better you can work out again. ?I started working out again after the 1st tri and it really helps me stay feeling well.
  • Some people feel better but everyone is different.  I guess you can start working out again when you feel better.

About your boobs- not sure what to tell you.  Once again everyone is different so... who knows.  Also, as you put on weight your boobs might get bigger.

I for one have had no sickness and my boobs haven't moved an inch or a cup.

Hope to see you on this board soon!

  • I didn't feel less nauseated until week 18 and it still hits me every afternoon/evening, but I haven't puked in 9 weeks. I ran until week 20 (even through the puking- sometimes I'd puke in the middle of a run) and now powerwalk, so I think you are fine unless your OB/MW says otherwise.

My boobs are pretty much the same size. ?

  • I definitely found that my exhaustion has eased up a little since entering my 2nd trimester. I never experienced morning sickness/nausea so I am not sure on that topic.

However I am entering week 18 and noticed this morning that my boobs seem to have grown overnight. Definitely the most significant change I have seen in a while.

Best of luck to you! These are some of my first posts ever so we are both pretty new to 2nd trimester board!

  • I'm just starting to feel less tired and I stopped waking up with a pit in my stomach about a week and a half ago (I didn't really get morning sickness though).  From everything I've read, your nausea will most likely go away.  Hang in there!
