My dad's birthday is today and I am taking him out to dinner. At first I was just going to have it be him and me, but since James is working nights, Tillman is coming along. He loves trains and cars, but unfortunately, doesn't have anything new and exciting. Any ideas?
Re: quick help - toys for a restaurant
Targets are having big clearance on toys. I was at ours today and they had a few of the leapfrog toys for ages 3-6 marked down to 9.99, regularly 14 or 19.99. They also had a Thomas v-tech laptop toy, letter/number games marked down to 19.99 regularly 29.99.
Might be worth just checking out your local Target, I am sure you will find something.
I like the google coloring pages idea.?
The only thing I can add here is to plead that whatever it is be a silent toy. ?I totally appreciate when parents bring stuff in with them to keep their kids occupied while they're dining, but often they don't think to weed out the musical, clangy, etc. toys and while they might keep a kid occupied, they can ruin everyone else's dinners.
::Stepping off soapbox now:: ?... thank you for indulging me. ?:)?
