As far as the ballet shoes, I used to work at Payless, and they carried them there.

I bought Ava's pink ones at Payless. The only place we could find tan tap shoes when I used to take dance was a local dance store.

I got DD's pink ballet shoes from Payless. She also needed tan tyette tap shoes, and the dance supply store had them but they were pretty expensive ($28 I believe, maybe more). I bought them on eBay from the seller accdance. They buy new items from closing dance stores. Hers were $13, although now it looks like they're $19.99/pair. I also bought them when they were running a sale, though.
