i delivered there, and i can honestly say the tour was so bad that dh and i ditched it halfway through. we also knew where the tower was because sil delivered there too and we'd been there to visit.
they had an lc giving it, and she (admittedly) had no idea where she was going or what she was doing. she was also answering questions that she had no business answering, rather than telling the women to seek the advice of their doctors. if you do go, i hope you have a better experience than we did.
if you opt not to, here's what you need to know: valet park, enter through the bates lobby, go to the purple elevators, third floor, follow the signs to l&d.
the rooms in the tower were almost the same as the l&d rooms, but smaller. i was in private room in the tower. it had a small sofa in there for dh to sleep on.
Ditto pp. We probably had the same tour guide-she was as bad at the tour as the lactation consulting, because I had her for that too! But, I did have a great experience delivering there. The room wasn't huge, but I didn't think it was bad. Of course, I was only in it about 36 hours.
