Seeing what is down the road, I don't think either DH or myself would have the time or energy to put into doing the nursery AFTER the birth... so it will get done before!
We did ours after. I had the ideas in place- but with our first son- he slept n our room for 8 months- so I was not too worried about her room being done before she came. She ended up sleeping with us for 8 months also- and we slowly did her room after she was here. When she was ready to move into her room- it was all done!?
Our nursery was only half done when our preemie decided to make his grand entrance. Everything was bought, but his closet was not put together, nothing hung on the walls, everything else still in packaging. I would definitely have the nursery done before baby comes. They are so little for such a short amount of time you won't want to have to worry about the nursery then. Plus, you'll probably be exhausted after baby comes and feeds all night.
We still haven't done one, but also, we weren't expecting our DS while stuck in a lease in a one bedroom apt!! He has his own corner right now! But I can't wait to get his set up once we get into our bigger place!
Re: Doing nursery after baby is born
we will be.
we are moving about a month after our babies are born.
it will probably be hard, but gotta do what we gotta do.
why are you thinking about this?
We're waiting until after the birth. We're not buying the bedding and decorating until after the birth since we're not finding out the sex of the baby
