Hey lady!
We went to an early dinner at a favorite restaurant so that we could catch the sunset. The restaurant is on the puget sound and looks right at the Olympic mountain range
It was great, but of course it's not even 8 p.m. and I've alrady had two beers. So I'm taking a break and we're going to watch a movie (I hope) and have some wine! I love me a three day weekend!

I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
It's still early for me here on the west coast. I am just trying to avoid cleaning house and being super anxious for tomorrow's beta. eeeekkk.
This place gets slow in the evening for me when the rest of the country goes to sleep...

Just got done eating dinner. I made pollo asado, spanish rice and guacamole.
I am full. Yuck.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
i LOVE LOVE LOVE guacamole! i'm jealous
i could eat just guac and chips for dinner!

That is one of my favorite meals!

I haven't even *tried* to go to sleep because I can feel its not going to happen. I hate this time of night - not sleeping, but not productive either. There's sooo much I should be doing right now!
P.s. Thanks for making me hungry with all the guac talk!
do you have a sam's club or costco membership? you can get HUGE avocados there for about $1-$1.25 each. and the quality is so much better than those i find at the grocery store

We have a Costco down the street, and I did buy a bag from there a month or so ago. They were all brown and rotten inside, and I ended up throwing them away.
I was so bummed. Maybe I just got a bad bag. I should try again next time I am at Costco.
I really just need to drive down the street a bit to this intersection where a local farmer sells a bag of small ones for 15 for $5 out of the back of his truck! I always forget about him...
