Nursery Decorating Dilemma

I"m having trouble finding wall shelves and a wall mounted quilt rack for my walls that aren't too expensive in the Cherry color to match the furniture.  I have seen a lot though that are white or black.  I'm thinking of giving up on the cherry.  Which one would you go with instead of the cherry?  White or black?  I'm thinking white because our doors are white and so are the blinds in the room.  You can see some of the nursery pictures in My Blog in my signature.

    I tried to look, but your bio is blank!

    I would either go with white OR get unfinished wood and stain it to match the cherry furniture. (good project for your husband :) )

    I would defiantly go with white! Unless your DH can stain them to cherry. :)

    I agree with pp. White unless you have wood ones stained to match.

    Thanks for the advice!  Nice to have some reassurance.  I think I've had DH do a lot of "Honey-do's" already so I will probably go with the white.

    Do you have a Christmas Tree Shop or HomeGoods near you?  I was just in Christmas $6...

    I had bought the cherry ones for our living room a while ago and today got white for the babies room...

    You can also try a craft store for an unfinished shelf and stain it...the unfinished tend to be around $10 or so...
