I'm trying to find a placemat or something I can put onto a restaurant table so if my daughter trys to teeth on the edge, she'll have a sanitary surface. They are just for sanitary purposes so she can bang on the table and in case
I miss her, teeth until I catch her and give her something else to chew
on. And it's a place to put cheerios so she can grab them without me having to feed her.
I can't seem to find what my friend had. They were plastic and thinner than regular plastic placemats and stuck to the table, but not with adhesive. That way you could have part of it cover the side edge of the table as well as the top of the table.
Does anyone have anything like this? Where did you find them?
Any other gear that's a 'must-have' for restaurant outings?
We usually feed our dd at home and then go out for ourselves, that way she can people watch, play with the toys we brought with and we don't have to feed her or worry about packing all the essentials for a meal for her.
Re: eating out gear for baby ???
I've seen a placemat like that in the one step ahead catalog. We've never used anything like that because we have a booster seat that you strap onto a regular chair. It has a tray so we throw everything right on there.
Here's the mat from one step ahead...it sounds like what you are describing

That's the one we have. LOVE it! DD likes to try to chew the edge of the table too but this works great!
This is PERFECT! Thanks!!
That's the one we have too. I posted a FAB review on it on Friday. I love it!
