1 yr molars?

Hi. I know there is a BIG range on these things, but has anyone's DC actually got any molars at 1 year? Its pretty much impossible to look in DS's mouth so I don;t know what's going on in there, but I thought I saw something in the back. He has 5 teeth in the front! TIA!

I cannot help but wonder the same about DD. She keeps sticking her fingers in the back of her mouth to the point of gagging multiple times a day, but like your son, will not let me come near her to check without throwing a fit. She has 10 teeth in the front so it is getting hard to see back there. I was an early teether and have heard genetics often play a role.
