  DH and I love the Santa Barbara area for a local vacation, but sorry, we've never been with a little one.  Have you considered having a grandparent come stay with your son while you take an overnight trip with just the two of you?  Or would that be too much for him?

  we're going to san fran for h's 30th at the end of the month. ?whenever we stay in a hotel we ask for a crib and if for some reason ry doesn't want to sleep in it, he sleeps in the bed with us and it works out. i do take a sheet with us to use instead of the hotel's. ?i think the smell helps. ?

  there is a four seasons hotel near san diego. ?if you're looking for a relaxing stay i'd def recommend it. ?although i haven't stayed in that one in particular, four seasons hotels are just amazing. they will also provide baby toiletries and things to childproof the room. ?they also have things like highchairs available at no extra charge. ?

  for my 30th this summer since i'll be uber preggo, we're staying local. ?i thought ry might love disneyland so we've decided to stay at one of the disney hotels for a few nights and go to disneyland. ?not my ideal vacation, but it should be fun.?
