teeth grinding

DS has four teeth two on top and two on bottom.  Today he started grinding them together - which is totally freaking me out - is the grinding pretty normal???   I'm hoping that it's just him figuring out his teeth and that it will stop SOON.  I can't stand that noise.

    I agree, it's an awful noise!  I wrote almost this exact post about a month ago.  It lasted for us for about 2-3 weeks.  I think it's just a phase with the new sensation in their mouth.  I just tried to ignore it when she did it to not draw any attention to it.

    Same thing for us too and I asked about it as well. We ignored it and it went away in a few weeks. It is a noise that makes me very uncomfortable and I had a hard time ignoring it but it did work.

    Totally normal.  Totally irritating.  And should stop soon.

    Ben actually has dents in his top teeth - the ones next to the middle two - from grinding.   Fun!  The dentist isn't worried and said it's normal.
