Start of labor sudden or slow?

in 3rd Trimester

How did labor start for you, if you've done this before? I know it's different for everyone. I've been having a vaguely crampy feeling on and off for a week or so but today I had it for a lot longer (very mild). Still no contractions, water breaking, MP, or anything else. I figure this could go on for days, or I could go into labor tomorrow. Due date is Mon.

Did anyone have it start like this??

    W #1 it was all of a sudden. Mild cramps turning to contractions and then during the early contractions (12-14 min. apart) diahrea and the MP came out. I never had my water break on its own. ( i went 2 days before my due date)

    With DD#1 I was contracting for about a week but did not feel any of it. I woke up one morning with small contractions and knew it was labor....after a couple of hours they were 5 min apart so I went into L&D. I never lost my MP or broke my water until I was already in the hospital.

    I had very mild cramps for about 12 hours before they induced me. Even once I was induced the contractions were very mild and did not feel uncomfortable until about 10 minutes before I began to push (I went natural). If I wasn't being induced I think I may have waited WAAAAYYY too long to go to the hospital because it was nothing like what I expected.
