What is wrong with my baby????

My poor kid had a stomach bug last Sunday. He woke up at 2am throwing up every half hour for 9 hours until we got him to the pedi and they gave him a shot to make him stop throwing up. He did good the rest of the day and we thought he was better. Then Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday he threw up about 3 times a day, anytime we fed him. Then Thursday night he was up screaming ALL night. We took him back to the pedi on Friday and he had an ear infection. He has been on meds for that and seemed a lot better today. He was acting normal and eating normal (he hadnt thrown up in a day and a half)- we thought he was better. Then tonight after his bedtime bottle he threw up EVERYWHERE. I feel so bad for him and I just want him to feel better. Whenever we ask the pedi about the vomiting they just tell us that as long as he is still having wet diapers then he should be fine. And then they tell us what is good to feed babies who have been sick. But nothing seems to be helping
